Day 01: Arrive Delhi:
Upon arrival at Delhi, met our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi :
Full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Your full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi includes visits to the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid – Friday Mosque, which is the country’s largest mosque, Chandni Chowk (Silver Street) famed for its colorful bazaars in narrow lanes, Raj Ghat the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, Birla Mandir – a large Hindu temple, India Gate – a 42 meter high, free standing arch built as a war memorial, Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India, Humayun’s Tomb : set in wonderful gardens built in the Mughal Emperors memory by his wife, Qutub Minar a 72 meter high tower built in 1199 A.D, and of course, the National Railway Museum.Overnight in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi- Agra:
Morning intime transfer to New Delhi railway station to board train Shatabadi express (0615/0812 hours) to Agra. Upon arrival at Agra, met and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon half day sightseeing tour of Agra. Your half day sightseeing tour of Agra includes visits to the Taj Mahal – perhaps the world’s most extravagant monument of love, built as far back as the mid 1600’s , by Shahjehan, in memory of his wife Mumtaz, the Agra Fort, the massive red sandstone Fort, set on the banks of the Yamuna River, built almost 500 years ago by the Mughal.Overnight in Agra.
Day 04: Agra- Jaipur:
Morning visit Fatehpur Sikri: The deserted capital of Emperor Akbar, approximately 35 kms outside Agra was built in the 16th century and abandoned 12 years later due to a scarcity of water.Later in time transfer to Agra railway station to board train Gwl Udr Express (1740/2220 hours) to Jaipur. Upon arrival at Jaipur, met and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 05: In Jaipur:
Full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur including Elephant ride at Amber Fort. Your full day sightseeing in Jaipur includes a visit to the Amber Fort, 11 kms away from the city, Amber was the ancient capital of Jaipur state. The Fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture, climb to the fort is on gaily bedecked Elephants. The tour includes a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) with it’s façade of all pink windows and filigree screens, and visits to the City Palace and Museum, still the home of the former Royalty of Jaipur and now housing a Museum that has an extensive collection of art, carpets and old weapons. Also visit the Jantar Mantar (observatory) built in 1728, with striking instruments and construction for measuring the positions of stars, planets, altitudes and calculating eclipses. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur - Jodhpur:
In time transfer to Jaipur railway station to board train Marudhar express (1150/1730 hours) to Jodhpur. Upon arrival in Jodhpur, met and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Day 07: Jodhpur - Udaipur:
Morning Half day sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. Your sightseeing tour of Jodhpur includes a visit to the Mehrangarh Fort - considered by many as the most impressive fort in the fort-studded Rajasthan. It towers above the blue city of Jodhpur, and has several commemorative structures built to celebrate the Marwar rulers' victories over various enemies. Inside the fort is a series of courtyards and palaces, as well as the Jodhpur Museum, which houses an exquisite collection of palanquins, howdahs, royal cradles, miniatures, musical instruments, costumes and furniture. The ramparts of the fort are home to not only several excellently preserved old cannon (including the famous Kilkila) but also offer a breath-taking view of the city. Also visit the Jaswant Thaada, a white marble cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The tour ends with an interesting walk around the colourful Sadar market and the Clock Tower. Afternoon drive to Udaipur (270/06 hours). Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 08: In Udaipur:
Half day sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Your half day sightseeing tour of Udaipur includes: a visit to the City Palace, towering over the lake, this is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. The main part of the palace is now preserved as a museum with a large and varied collection of glass, porcelain figures and miniature paintings. The Jagdish Temple, located only 150 meters from the city palace is the famous Jagdish Temple, which enshrines a black stone image of Lord Vishnu as Jagannath, Lord of the universe. Saheliyon ki bari, or the garden of the Maids of Honour, which is a small ornamental garden with fountains, stone elephants and a delightful lotus pool.Evening Boat ride at Lake Pichola. A boat trip on the Lake Pichola, is considered the best way to end the day in Udaipur. Hills, palaces, temples, bathing ghats and embankments, surround Udaipur's famous lake and landmark. The two island palaces, Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir, are situated on it, of which The Jag Niwas, also called the Lake Palace hotel, seemingly floats in the glittering waters of the lake and is perhaps one of India’s most photographed buildings. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 09: Udaipur - Chittaurgarh - Delhi:
Early afternoon drive to Chittaurgarh (110Kms/ 02 hours) for a sightseeing tour of Chittaurgarh. Your sightseeing tour of Chittaurgarh includes a visit to Chittaurgarh fort- a huge and colossal structure. The entrance to the fort is provided through seven gates and lead up to the main gate, Ram Pol (gate of Ram). The main gate of the fort itself is Suraj Pol (Sun gate). There are a number of magnificent monuments inside the fort itself. Also visit Vijay Stambh- the tower of victory, Kirti Stambh-the tower of fame & Rana Kumbha Palace- the most imposing monument in the Chittorgarh fort. Rich heritage and architecture define this palace. Later in time transfer to Chittaurgarh railway station to board overnight train Mewar Express (2050/0615 hours) to Delhi. Overnight on board train.
Day 10: Arrive Delhi:
Upon arrival in Delhi, met and transfer to the hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 11: Depart from Delhi:
In time transfer to Delhi airport to board flight for onward destination.
