Day 1     Kathmandu - Lhasa

Flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa.  Upon arrival into Lhasa you will be met and transferred to your hotel . The afternoon is at leisure to acclimatise to the altitude. Overnight in Lhasa

Day 2     Lhasa

Full day tour of Lhasa including sights such as Sera Monastery; the second biggest Gelupa Monastery , which was built in 1419. Jokhang Temple; one of the oldest temples in Tibet built in the 7th Century by the 33rd king Sontsanganbu. Also visit Barkhor Street, the middle pilgrimage circuit around Jokhang Temple. Overnight in Lhasa

Day 3     Lhasa

Today’s sightseeing takes in Potala Palace, the winter palace of the Dalai Lama, which was originally built in the 7th Century, and rebuilt to it’s present size in the 17th Century. Norbulingka, the Jewel Park, was the Dalai Lama’s summer palace. It covers 100 acres with palaces, pavilions and a zoo. Overnight in Lhasa

Day 4  Lhasa

Today’s sightseeing takes you to Drepung Monastery, built in 1416, is the biggest Gelupa Monastery in Lhasa and a Tibetan Hospital and Nunnery.

Day 5     Lhasa – Kathmandu

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Kathmandu.
